Where is your favorite place to visit in Missouri?

We stay at Saint Louis RV Park.  It is Urban (all blacktop) but full hookup and has a nice pool.  We are pretty close with the owners, George & Lynn Hudson, and they treat us like family!  Park is right downtown, but very safe, right across from a police station.  Super convient to STL attractions.  It is a different camping experiance, as it is an "urban" park, similar in some respects to Liberty Harbor in NJ.

Forest Park, can't do it all in one day!  Site of 1904 Worlds Fair.  History, Art, and Science Meusum, Zoo (AWESOME ZOO), much more!  ALL FREE!

Kids-- and adults, City Meusum.  A Bit "Pricey" but TONS of fun.  Go on a friday or Saturday evening and hang out by the campfire, or go nuts climbing around on all the stuff!  One of STL's hidden treassures!

Downtown, newly rejuvenated, and jsut fun to tramp around.  STL RV Park is on the bus line so you don't have to drive, but Downtown is within a mile or so so walking is cool too.

Union Station, good stop for lunch, neat to see kind of tourist trappy, but still a history lesson inside.

Sulard Farmers Market, AWESOME one of the best farmers markets in the country, and some history there too.

Brewery Tour, Yeah I know it's A/B, but they run a first class operation!

Grant's Farm, again part of A/B, but Awesome day trip

Transportation Mesusm, a bit on the outskirts of STL (30 min drive from downtown,) but well worth it, AWESOME train collection in all states of restoration, some cool old cars, and lots of history.

Of course, if you haven't been must go up in the Arch and see the Jefferson Expansion Memorial.  Don't forget the old courthouse across the street also is a muesum.  NAtional Park, and it is well done.  If you don't like tight spots stay out of the tram to the top!

Easily spend a week and not see everything.

My favorite place to visit, though, is in Galena, Illinois which is only about 5 hours from Omaha. Illinois oldest operating hotel, The DeSoto House, is a great place to stay. There is tons of shopping from antiques to candles to specialties. Very old town with all the orginal down town buildings. People are extremely nice.
